Fed: most employees kept in dark on redundancies - survey
A survey shows more than 50 per cent of employees say their organisations has no effective
plan in place to let them know the company's position in the event of mass redundancies.
And only 20 per cent of the 5,000 respondents reported that a staff morale boosting
campaign was implemented after redundancies were made.
The TMP Worldwide survey shows 49 per cent of employees say they are willing to take
a redundancy if it is offered but 27 per cent are not confident their entitlements are
secure.
The survey also found that the older the employee, the more they are told about the
position of the company.
