Vic: Airlines hit by strike action
The air industry reportedly will be the next hit by industrial action, with Ansett
services facing disruption around the country.
The Age newspaper says airports will be without security guards as industrial action
over new agreements begins.
The assistant national secretary of the Australian Services Union, LINDA WHITE, says
airline passenger check-in staff will stop work on Friday at most major and provincial
airports.
